Warranty
Our standard patio covers carry a 15-year structural warranty covering welds, fasteners, and panel integrity. Sunrooms are backed by a 20-year structural warranty. All warranties are transferable to new homeowners, which can add real value when you sell.
Yes — every patio cover and sunroom we install comes with a 100% leak-free guarantee. If water gets through within the warranty period, we come back and fix it at no cost. No paperwork, no runaround.
Warranties do not cover damage caused by extreme impact (e.g., a tree falling on the structure), modifications made by third parties, or normal surface weathering of painted finishes over many years. We walk you through the full terms before any contract is signed.
Yes. Retractable awnings carry a 10-year fabric and motor warranty. Railings carry a 10-year powder-coat warranty against peeling or flaking. Screen rooms are covered by a 10-year frame warranty.
Installation Timeline
Most standard patio covers are installed in one to two days once materials arrive on site. Larger projects — full sunrooms or multi-section covers — typically take three to five days. We give you a firm timeline in writing before we start.
Lead times vary by season. Spring and early summer are our busiest periods — we often book four to eight weeks out. Fall and winter installations are usually available within two to three weeks. Request a quote early to lock in your preferred date.
Yes. We install year-round. Concrete footings require ground temperatures above freezing, but most structural work can proceed in cold weather. We'll advise you on any weather-related scheduling adjustments during the consultation.
We monitor forecasts closely and communicate proactively. If a weather delay pushes your install date, we reschedule at the earliest available slot at no extra charge. You'll always hear from us before the crew is due to arrive.
Materials
We use heavy-gauge aluminum extrusions and panels as our primary material — it's lightweight, rust-proof, and engineered for Alberta's freeze-thaw cycles and snow loads. We do not use vinyl or wood-composite systems that can warp or crack over time.
Yes. Every product we supply is sourced from Canadian manufacturers. This means faster lead times, consistent quality control, and materials tested for Canadian climate conditions — not imported products designed for mild coastal winters.
Our aluminum systems come in a wide range of powder-coat colours including white, beige, bronze, charcoal, and custom colours on request. Powder-coat finishes are baked on at high temperature, so they resist chipping and fading far better than painted finishes.
Our standard patio cover systems are engineered to meet or exceed Alberta Building Code snow load requirements for Central Alberta (typically 1.9 kPa ground snow load). We can engineer heavier-duty systems for acreages or areas with higher local snow loads.
Maintenance
Very little. Aluminum does not rust, rot, or require repainting. An annual wash-down with mild soap and water is all most homeowners do. We recommend checking fasteners and gutters once a year, which takes about 20 minutes.
Our structures are engineered for Alberta snow loads, so you don't need to clear snow after every storm. That said, if you get an unusually heavy wet snowfall (30 cm or more), a gentle push with a soft broom from the edge is a good precaution and extends the life of the structure.
Integrated gutters should be cleared of leaves and debris each fall. This is a simple task — most homeowners do it themselves with a garden hose. We can also include a gutter-guard option at installation to reduce how often cleaning is needed.
High-quality powder-coat holds colour well for 10–15 years under normal Alberta sun exposure. Some slight chalking can occur after many years, which can be refreshed with a specialty aluminum paint. This is cosmetic only and does not affect structural integrity.
Pricing Factors
The main factors are: size (square footage), product type (standard cover vs. sunroom vs. screen room), roof style (flat, single-slope, or gable), number of posts and footings required, and any add-ons like integrated lighting, ceiling fans, or privacy walls.
No. The initial consultation and written quote are completely free. We come to your property, measure the space, discuss your goals, and provide a detailed itemized quote — no obligation, no pressure.
Most municipalities in Central Alberta require a building permit for permanent patio structures. We handle the permit application on your behalf. Permit fees vary by municipality (typically $150–$400) and are passed through at cost — we do not mark them up.
Yes. We work with a third-party financing partner to offer flexible payment plans for qualified homeowners. Options include 0% interest for 12 months and longer-term plans. Ask us about current financing offers when you request your quote.
